Then let me take all the hard work out of the equation, and let me give it a fresh, modern look it deserves. I can transform what is most probably a quality piece of furniture that was made to last into something with a style more suitable to current interior trends, thus extending its life span for it to be enjoyed and admired for many more years to come.
Let me bring new life to a cherished piece of furniture
We are all increasingly more conscious of our environment and the importance of recycling rather than replacing it, and what better way to contribute to this effort, as well as saving yourself a substantial amount of money, than reinvesting in up-cycling your own furniture! You may have even inherited a piece that has huge sentimental value, but you are struggling to make work in your home, and our commissioned painting service is the perfect solution to your dilemma.
I use a variety of oil-based trade paints, mixed to match, the likes of Farrow and Ball, Little and Green, Tikkurila, and Dulux Heritage, to name a few.
My process to paint furniture is to apply an adhesion primer to seal all wood, then apply two oil-based undercoats, and finish off with one topcoat of oil-based eggshell or satin finish. Oil-based paints are far more durable.
