Kitchens are the heart of the home, but over time, even the highest-quality wooden cabinets can begin to feel dated. We recently travelled out of our Brentwood base to a beautiful family property in Chelmsford to give a spacious kitchen a completely fresh, modern lease of life.
The client loved the layout of their existing kitchen but wanted a brighter, more contemporary aesthetic. For this Chelmsford kitchen painting project, we recommended a classic, sophisticated look using a durable, wipeable satin finish designed to withstand the demands of a busy household.
Our Kitchen Cabinet Painting Process
Meticulous Preparation
Every surface was carefully de-greased before we removed all hardware and thoroughly protected floors, worktops and surrounding areas to ensure a clean, professional finish.
Flawless Priming
A specialist high-adhesion primer was applied to create the perfect foundation and ensure exceptional long-term durability.
Hand-Painted Excellence
Three coats of premium specialist furniture paint were applied by hand, producing a smooth, brush-mark-free finish that completely transformed the appearance of the kitchen.
The Finished Result
The completed kitchen now looks like a brand-new installation at a fraction of the cost of replacing the cabinets. Whether you’re looking to modernise an existing kitchen or completely refresh your home’s interior, professional preparation and high-quality materials make all the difference.
