At RM Décor we are able to offer a service to hand paint your kitchen, fitted bedrooms and furniture.
Professional Furniture Painting Service
We use a variety of paints including Farrow & Ball, Little Green Paint Company, Dulux Heritage, the Paint & Paper Library to name a few.
We can also colour match if you are looking to refresh your existing look. Our quality finish is second to none and we are able to supply references if required.
An Affordable New Look for your Home
From single items to whole suites, from vintage and antique to brand new pieces, RM Décor can give your furniture a new lease of life, whether it's restoring it back to its former glory with a beautiful new coat of polish, or painting it to fit in with your colour scheme to give a fresh new look.
To replace a kitchen can be an extremely costly and disruptive process that could cost you thousands. But as long as the current layout works for you, our quality preparation and painting can breathe new life into your tired and dated kitchen for a fraction of the cost.
Cost Saving Advantages of Painted Furniture
Hand painting an existing oak or pine kitchen can regularly save clients an average of at least £7,000 – £10,000 on the cost of replacing it with a new kitchen.
Though each kitchen is individually priced, a small lacquered or laminated oak or pine wooden kitchen usually costs around £1000 to prepare, prime and paint. What’s more, unlike many companies, we can remove the doors and drawers, paint them in our workshop and then re-hang them – allowing for a stress free makeover with the minimum of disruption.
With our facilities and a selection of outstanding colours and finishes, we can give you a professional level of service that's unrivalled in Essex and surrounding areas.

The Stages of Painting your Furniture
RM Décor can offer ideas and alternative design solutions that are high on visual impact but very cost effective.
- Start by sending us pictures of your furniture or contact us to arrange a visit for a personal quotation.
- Strip out of all the parts that can be removed - doors, drawers, kick-boards, plinths etc. We leave all carcasses, worktops and islands in place.
- Three to Four Days later we will return the newly painted parts, mask up the kitchen and paint anything that could not be removed. (Depending on size this can take between 1-2 days, usually 1).
- Once dry, we will refit all the previously removed parts and leave you with a brand new & uniquely personalised kitchen.
