We spend about a third of our lives in bed, so the environment in which we go to sleep and wake up has a big impact on the way we feel.

Our client in Wanstead, East London decided it was time to revamp her bedroom as it was in need of an uplift. the built-in wardrobes and various pieces of furniture were all very dark and a tad gloomy. Brightening these up would certainly be a great way to bring more light into the room and lift your mood at the same time.

The choice was made to go with the Farrow and Ball colour ‘Shadow White No 282’ with an eggshell finish. These jobs require a lot of preparation and plenty of coats to achieve a quality, long-lasting finish. The outcome was “Excellent” – to quote our client – and the entire look was completed with new Victorian Nickle finish handles.
