This hand-painted kitchen job, transformed an older-style kitchen with solid wood cabinet doors, into something that deserves pride of place in a modern home.

The kitchen cabinets were painted with Farrow and Ball Eggshell, Purbeck Stone, while the walls were treated to a coating of Wevet and Stiffkey Blue, again from Farrow and Ball colour range but this time the Modern Emulsion.

To prepare for this transformation, all handles were removed and all panels were washed down with Sugar Soap. A coat of Tikkurila Otex adhesion primer was applied followed by 2 coats of an oil-based undercoat. These form the perfect base for the Farrow and Ball equivalent topcoat from Johnstone’s Trade.
