This recent bedroom redecoration took place in a charming early 1900s farmhouse in Hastingwood, Essex. The room’s original beams and period character features provided a beautiful backdrop for a soft, classic colour scheme.
We chose Farrow & Ball Drop Cloth (No.283) for the walls and window frames — a warm, natural tone that carries a subtle contemporary edge — and finished the ceiling in Farrow & Ball School House White (No.291) to add gentle contrast and a sense of light and airiness throughout the space.
